Cutting Edge is thrilled to help the next generation acquire the skill and knowledge they need for a successful career in the automotive industry. Tucson’s JTED program gives high school students the opportunity to learn a trade while still in high school so that they graduate with the ability to earn a living and become a productive member of society.

Gary and the team are sponsoring two students at Sunnyside High School, Gary Hagen’s alma mater. They will even be able to learn automotive technologies at the hands of Gary’s old shop teacher Mr. Escalante. These students will be able to graduate with their own tools and the ability to use them.

The Automotive Technologies program will teach these students to perform engine repairs and maintenance, teach them to research and work on various technical systems, and equip them to work on hybrid vehicles. Cutting Edge is excited to be a part of the future of Tucson’s automotive future in a whole new way.
